Giggly respects your privacy and is strictly committed to protecting your personal data and the data of your family and child. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and share your data when you visit our online store at giggly.toys, contact our team, or purchase any of our digital products once purchasing is enabled in the store.

This policy applies to all store visitors and parents, and to customers once purchasing is enabled. Please read it carefully to understand our practices regarding your data and the rights granted to you under applicable legislation.

Current store status: Giggly is currently preparing for launch, and purchasing and downloads are not yet enabled. Lemon Squeezy, the payment provider we plan to use, is currently reviewing the store, and no payments are processed at this time. This policy explains the data we collect now and the data that will be collected after the store is activated.

1. Who Is Responsible for Processing Your Data?

The Giggly store is responsible for processing the personal data collected through the store and its associated services, in accordance with the provisions of the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law, the regulations and instructions issued under it, and related legislation.

After the store is activated, Lemon Squeezy will process purchase and payment data as the merchant of record and under its own privacy policy, as described in Section 9.

2. The Nature of the Store and Its Digital Products

The Giggly store is an online store specializing exclusively in providing original educational and creative digital products and content for children and families, in Arabic and/or English, including but not limited to:

• Downloadable and printable worksheets, educational activities, and activity packs.
• Printable coloring books and pages.
• Digital books and resources for children and parents (eBooks / PDF).

All products offered in the store are intangible electronic digital products (mostly in PDF format); we do not sell physical goods and do not ship anything. Once purchasing is enabled, products will be delivered electronically via download links sent to the email address used at checkout, ready to use on smart devices and computers or to print at home.

We do not currently offer products personalized with a child’s name (such as personalized stories or songs), and their launch has not been decided. If we offer them in the future, the controls set out in Section 4 will apply.

3. The Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate the store and respond to your inquiries, and to provide our digital products once purchasing is enabled. Our website does not offer customer accounts, a newsletter, or product ratings or reviews. The data falls into the following categories:

Contact Form and Correspondence Data

When you use the Contact Us form, we collect your name, email address, the topic of your message, and the message itself, and the message is sent by email to hello@giggly.toys so that we can reply to you. We also receive the messages and inquiries you send us directly by email, including any information you choose to include in them.

Technical Data and Server Logs

Such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the date and time of the visit. The hosting provider keeps this data in standard server logs for security and operational purposes. To protect the contact form from spam, we temporarily use the visitor’s IP address in server memory to limit the number of messages sent, without storing it permanently. We do not use any analytics or tracking tools to measure visitor behavior.

Order and Billing Data (After the Store Is Activated)

When you make a purchase after the store is activated, data such as your name, email address (which is the essential requirement for sending download links and receipts), billing details (such as your country or address, as required by the checkout page), and order information (such as the products purchased and the order value and date) is entered on the Lemon Squeezy checkout page and processed by Lemon Squeezy as described in Section 9. We may view the necessary order information when needed to provide support for your order.

Payment Data

After the store is activated, payments will be processed through the Lemon Squeezy checkout page, using the payment methods available there (such as bank cards and, where available, PayPal). The Giggly store never receives or stores your full bank card number or security code (CVV), or the login credentials for your PayPal account or any e-wallet. No payments are processed at this time.

Children’s Product Personalization Data

We do not currently offer products personalized with a child’s name, and therefore we do not collect any personalization data about children. If we offer these products in the future, the data collected will be limited to what the parent provides to us and will be subject to the strict protection controls detailed in Section 4.

4. Strict Protection of Child Personalization Data

At Giggly, we recognize the extreme sensitivity of children’s data. We do not currently offer products personalized with a child’s name and do not collect personalization data about children. If we offer these products in the future, we will give their data the highest level of protection and security in accordance with the following controls and standards:

• Type of data collected: It will be limited solely to the information needed to produce the personalized product as specified by the form on the product page, such as: the child’s first name (or the nickname to appear in the story or song), their age or school stage, and certain specific preferences or the gifting occasion.
• Data source and consent: We will not collect any personalization data except through the parent, the legal guardian, or a legally authorized adult who is responsible for providing it on the child’s behalf.
• Exclusive purpose of use: Personalization data will be used exclusively to design, prepare, and produce the personalized product, send it to the parent, and provide related technical support.
• Strict prohibition of marketing and advertising use: The child’s data will never be used in any advertising campaigns or in targeted advertising, or to create marketing profiles about the child or their behavior, and it will never be shared with or sold to any advertising or commercial party.
• No requests for unjustified sensitive data: We will not ask parents for photographs of children, voice recordings, or identity documents, unless the requested digital product technically and unambiguously requires it, in which case we will fully explain the purpose to the parent and obtain their prior explicit consent.
• Retention and deletion: Personalization data and the prepared digital files will be kept for the period necessary to deliver the product and to enable the parent to access it, re-download it, and resolve any technical issue. The parent has the right at any time to contact us to request the immediate and complete deletion of their child’s data and the personalized digital file by email at hello@giggly.toys or through the Contact Us page, taking into account the financial and accounting records of the original order that must be retained by law.

5. Digital Delivery and Download Links

Purchasing and downloads are not yet enabled in the store. After the store is activated, and since all products are digital, delivery will take place as follows:

• Delivery by email: Once payment is successfully confirmed, the download link is sent to the email address used at checkout.
• Lemon Squeezy order pages: Lemon Squeezy also provides access to orders through its own customer order pages.
• Technical support for download links: If the email does not arrive, a download link stops working, or any technical problem occurs while downloading the files, please contact us first at hello@giggly.toys or through the Contact Us page, and we will work to help you access your files, coordinating with Lemon Squeezy when needed.
• Nature of digital delivery: Once downloaded, the files are saved directly on your personal devices or your cloud storage, without any shipping or physical delivery.

6. Mandatory and Optional Data

Data is divided into:

• Mandatory data: To contact us through the contact form: your name, email address, the topic of your message, and the message itself; without them, we cannot reply to your message. To complete a purchase and digital delivery after the store is activated: your email address, name, and the billing and payment details required by the Lemon Squeezy checkout page; without them, the order cannot be processed and the links to the purchased digital content cannot be sent.
• Optional data: Any additional information you choose to include in your messages to us. Please do not send sensitive data or data about your child unless it is necessary for your request.

7. Purposes and Legal Basis for Processing Data

We process your data in accordance with the provisions of the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law, for the following purposes and on the following legal bases:

• Communication and customer service: Responding to your messages and inquiries, resolving technical issues related to downloading, and assisting with refund requests in accordance with our Exchange and Refund Policy and the Lemon Squeezy Buyer Terms.
• Performing the contract and delivering digital orders (after the store is activated): Processing your order, delivering download links for purchased products, and sending receipts and invoices, through Lemon Squeezy.
• Processing and verifying payments (after the store is activated): Completing and verifying the financial transaction through Lemon Squeezy as the merchant of record, using the payment methods available on its checkout page.
• Compliance with legal and accounting obligations: Meeting tax, regulatory, and accounting requirements and keeping the financial records required by law.
• Protecting store security and preventing fraud: Protecting digital systems and the contact form from abuse and spam, preventing fraudulent transactions, and safeguarding the rights of the store and its users.
• Consent: We do not currently use your data to send marketing messages or for targeted advertising. If we decide to do so in the future, we will only do so after obtaining your consent where the law requires it, with the option to withdraw this consent at any time.

8. Data Sharing and Recipients

At Giggly, we do not sell or rent your personal data to any third party. Sharing is limited to the minimum necessary data with the following parties:

• Hostinger: The provider that hosts our website and its database, and the provider of the hello@giggly.toys mailbox through which we receive and send contact form messages and support correspondence.
• Lemon Squeezy (after the store is activated): To process payments, manage orders, and deliver digital products as the merchant of record; it processes this data under its own privacy policy (see Section 9).
• Competent judicial and official authorities: Only when we are legally obligated to disclose under the provisions of the law or a binding official order.

We do not share your data with any advertising or marketing parties. Data processing is limited to the parties mentioned above in order to operate the store and respond to your inquiries, and to complete purchases and deliver digital content after the store is activated.

9. Lemon Squeezy: Payments, Order Processing, and Digital Delivery

We plan to use Lemon Squeezy as our provider for payments, order processing, and digital product delivery. Lemon Squeezy is currently reviewing the store, and no payments are processed through it at this time.

We may use Lemon Squeezy to process payments, manage orders, and deliver digital products after the store is activated. The necessary data, such as your name, email address, billing details, and order information, may be shared with Lemon Squeezy for this purpose. We do not store full bank card numbers or security codes.

After the store is activated, Lemon Squeezy will act as the merchant of record, meaning that it is an authorized reseller of Giggly’s products and completes the sale; the purchase is governed by its Buyer Terms, and its privacy policy applies to the data it processes. Lemon Squeezy may process the data needed for the following purposes:

• Processing payments.
• Confirming orders.
• Running fraud and risk checks.
• Calculating and collecting applicable taxes.
• Sending receipts and invoices by email.
• Delivering download links for digital products.
• Handling refunds and chargebacks and keeping purchase records.

The available payment methods are those offered on the Lemon Squeezy checkout page, such as bank cards; PayPal may be one of the payment methods available there, where offered. The Giggly store does not process payments itself.

10. Cookies, Analytics, and Marketing

Our public website does not use any tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not use any analytics tools or marketing pixels (such as the Meta/Facebook pixel or Google/YouTube pixels). Cookies are limited to the following:

• Strictly necessary cookies for store administrators: The only cookies our website sets are the sign-in cookies that the store’s administrators need to access the admin panel; they are not set for store visitors.
• Lemon Squeezy checkout pages (after the store is activated): Lemon Squeezy runs its own checkout pages, and these pages may use Lemon Squeezy’s own cookies under its policies.

We do not use cookies to display ads or to build profiles of visitors or children. If we decide in the future to use analytics tools or non-essential cookies, we will explain this in this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it. You can adjust or block cookies at any time through your browser settings.

11. International Data Transfers Outside Jordan

The servers of Hostinger, our hosting and email provider, may be located outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and Lemon Squeezy is based in the United States. As a result, some data may be processed or stored on servers located outside the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

When transferring data internationally, we make sure that adequate protection safeguards and contractual and security measures are in place in line with the provisions of the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law, to ensure that your data continues to enjoy the same high level of protection and confidentiality wherever it is handled.

12. Data Retention Period and Deletion Policy

At Giggly, we follow the principle of data minimization and retain personal data only for the reasonable period necessary to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, in accordance with the following rules:

• Contact form messages and technical support correspondence: These are kept for the period necessary to follow up on resolving the inquiry or issue and to ensure customer satisfaction, and are then deleted periodically.
• Server logs: These are kept by the hosting provider for the period necessary for security and operational purposes.
• Spam protection data: The IP address is used temporarily in server memory and is not stored permanently.
• Transaction, order, and accounting records (after the store is activated): Financial and tax records and invoice data are retained for the mandatory period established by the financial and accounting laws and regulations in force in Jordan, to document transactions and for financial audit procedures. Lemon Squeezy retains the purchase records it processes under its own privacy policy.
• Child personalization data (if personalized products are offered in the future): This data is kept for the period necessary to produce the personalized product, make it available to the parent, facilitate re-downloading, and provide technical support, and it is permanently deleted or anonymized once the purpose has been fulfilled or immediately upon receiving a deletion request from the parent.

13. Security Measures to Protect Data

We apply appropriate technical and organizational standards and measures to protect your data from any unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or disclosure, including:

• Encrypting all communications and data transmitted through the store using modern encryption protocols (HTTPS / TLS).
• Not receiving or storing bank card data on our side, as payments will be processed through the Lemon Squeezy checkout page after the store is activated.
• Restricting access to data and limiting it to authorized persons based on essential business need, and protecting the store’s admin panel with a sign-in reserved for administrators.
• Protecting the contact form from abuse and spam.

14. Your Rights Under the Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law

The Jordanian Personal Data Protection Law grants you a full set of rights regarding your personal data, including:

• Right to review and access: To know what personal data we hold about you, review it, and obtain a copy of it.
• Right to rectification and updating: To request the correction of any inaccurate data, or the completion or updating of incomplete data.
• Right to erasure and deletion: To request the deletion of your personal data when it is no longer needed or when you withdraw your consent, unless there are legal requirements that necessitate its continued retention.
• Right to withdraw consent: To withdraw your prior consent to processing at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.
• Right to restrict processing: To request that the processing of your data be limited to specific scopes in cases recognized by law.
• Right to object: To object to the processing of your data if it is carried out for unjustified purposes or goes beyond the original purpose.
• Right to file a complaint: To file a complaint with the data controller or to approach the competent official data protection authority.

For purchase and payment data processed by Lemon Squeezy after the store is activated, you may also exercise your rights directly with Lemon Squeezy under its privacy policy, and we will help you with this when needed.

16. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to amend or update this Privacy Policy periodically to keep pace with updates to our digital products and services, including the activation of purchasing in the store, or to meet legal and regulatory changes.

Whenever we make any change, we will immediately publish the updated version on this page and update the “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the store after the update date constitutes your acceptance of the contents of the amended version.
